Together, they invite audiences to journey through the joys and bittersweet moments of childhood, creating unforgettable family memories. Through a lively blend of tap dance and laughter, a heartfelt story comes to life—don’t miss this captivating celebration of family and fun!
Introduction :
Victoria, ensnared in her overbearing mother Maddy to become an elite, finds her world crumbling under the weight of a suffocating study schedule. One day, Victoria stumbles into a tap dance class, where rhythm ignites her spirit, she discovers her passion for tap dance. In a heartfelt attempt to rekindle her smile, Bitter, her father who has never danced, bravely joins her in this unexpected dance of joy.

Kit has had a passion for tap dancing and music since he was young. Serendipitously, he was forced to work as a "Goose Neck Bridge Puppet Master". Kit knew nothing about "Puppet Mastering" and naively treated it as "Freestyle". He even "Battled" against an experienced elder who tried to trick him. To Kit 's surprise, he lost to the old man.
However, Kit began to find some enjoyment in his work. He started to incorporate his own sense of rhythm and tap dancing skills into the "Puppet Mastering" performance, in an attempt to defeat the elder. But the elder was still too experienced...

The 10th Hong Kong Tap Festival Gala
We proudly present an exciting line-up for the 10th Hong Kong Tap Festival! It has been 4 years already since we have overseas tappers on our festival stage. Apart from inviting guest dancers from Japan, Korea and Taiwan to perform with us, it is our honour to have the respectful Japanese tap master - Yukiko "Smilie" Misumi who dedicated herself into inheriting the precious Master Steps, to choreograph for Hong Kong dancers. Mandy Petty (aka Mother of Tap in HK) will also choreograph a new piece for the guest dancers and local dancers. It is definitely going to be a long-awaited tap dancing celebration night!
